PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Genentech and BioNTech have each been innovating for generations. Their scientific discoveries have revolutionized the way that we look at genetic makeup forever. These companies have joined forces for their most recent project; customized cancer vaccinations. With this newfound collaboration, they need a technology headquarters to fuse both teams under one roof, for the first time since their partnership.
GOAL: Design a space that reflects these companies' studies, treatments, and crucial individualized support. Genetech and BioNTech require an extremely innovative space to work and collaborate under one roof. The space must promote flexibility and ingenuity to facilitate solutions from these medical geniuses.
CONCEPT: The Custom Cancer Vaccine Headquarters challenges the standard of linear cold laboratories and medical facilities by welcoming users into an organic space. The design is all about the individual; every environment is created so departments can produce their best work while promoting collaboration between the spaces. BioNTech and Genentech each started as a family and want to create the same experience for all of their employees and visitors.
